Description: Semi –structured dance class for boys and girls to freely express themselves through movement and music (primarily praise & worship). Students will learn dance concepts (space, speed, levels, effort/force, direction, pathways), and the class will include singing, stretching, prop use (scarves, ribbons, instruments, parachute), choreography and much time for creative freedom to move and praise in their own way. There will be a party and show for the families, on the last class.
There is also a preschool dance class (12-1pm) and a Mom’s group with a music and movement component (9:45-11:45am) on the same day prior to the homeleaners class.
Instructor: Crystal Spannier
Bio: 10 years with the Port Moody Rec Center as a preschool/child Instructor (dance, music, gymnastics, art, outdoor exploration). Dance background: ballet, hip hop, jazz, creative movement, cheer/stunting. Certified Group Fitness Instructor (Praise & Worship Dance Fitness). School of Ministry Student @ Calvary Worship Center. Passionate about learning, education, children, dance, building community, biblical study, reformation and revival and the transformative power of God.

Several of our students have performed in commercials, made for TV movies, voiceovers for cartoons and animated feature films. They are also regularly chosen to do roles in community theatre productions for Royal City Musical Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars and Footlight Theatre Company.
Our Broadway Home Stars Musical Theatre sessions begin every September and run until June. Every second year students participate in a Christmas production. Beginners Welcome!
