Swimming lessons for homeschoolers,

Wednesdays, 9 lessons 12:00 – 2:30 pm.

Location: Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex Fleetwood (16555 Fraser Hwy).

Register through the city of Surrey website: https://www.surrey.ca/parks-recreation/activities-registration

There is no longer specific homeschool swimming classes. For swimming, either register on line: culture and rec, activities registration, aquatics, swim lessons, and then choose on the left bar: the swim kids level(s) you need, Location SSLC and Days – Wednesday. OR go to the Surrey Sport and Leisure Pool in Fleetwood (16555 Fraser Highway.) and ask at the front desk if they have once a week swimming lessons, during the day. Thus far it has been available on Wednesday’s around noon. (By the way, during the lessons of your child you are eligible to a ‘value time’ swim or family drop in of $2.00).

Note: A free ‘Recreation Pass’ is required for facility use (and is much more convenient than standing in line). Have a photo taken at the front desk, within moments you receive your plastic photo id card with barcode. Scan your card when you enter the facility for your lessons. Use of the card and scanner is only for paid lessons / other passes.

Public swim time from 12:00pm-2:30pm for the children participating in the lessons program.

Any siblings not registered in lessons, will be required to pay the ‘drop in’ rate (subject to change).

Parents if you would like to swim or use the weight room during this time we offer a $3.00 drop in “Quick fit” rate! Please note this is only valid for the legal guardians of the child in lessons. Parents: Please remember to supervise your children – required for a child under 7, but recommended for your kids at any age.

During Wednesday afternoons other home school families not taking lessons come to take the social opportunity of pool time with other home school families with a Drop-in swim. This is an excellent opportunity for Homeschool Phys Ed and social time for homeschool families – also those not in lessons.

Skate – Homeschool – Children Rink in Fleetwood (16555 Fraser Highway.) For skating, find a date and time slot that works best for you, I don’t think that any are available during the day, only late afternoon and evening.

Location: Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex, Arena, 16555 Fraser Highway

Helmet and Skate rentals available at an additional cost. Bike Helmets not permitted.
